Salary: £12.90 per hour (up to 48 hours), £16.30 per hour for overtime after the 48 hours.
Working Hours: Rotating shifts, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Shifts will be scheduled well in advance and may vary weekly.
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely be able to move, load, and unload goods.
Manage stock levels, ensuring products are stored correctly and inventory is accurately updated.
Assist with the preparation of outgoing orders and the receipt of incoming shipments.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
