We are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution team within a fast paced Engineering business. This role is ideal for someone with practical experience in loading and unloading who can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Load and unload vehicles, trailers and containers safely and efficiently
Move stock around the factory and stage goods for despatch and collection
Secure, stack and store items to prevent damage
Complete basic paperwork and record keeping related to goods movement
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all health & safety procedures
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and schedules
Required skills and attributes
Proven experience in loading and unloading
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, carrying and moving goods)
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Experience (no ticket required) on a Forklift Reach would be desirable
