Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.84 per hour after successful completion of 10 weeks
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse team based in Ellesmere Port.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience, or someone looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced environment. You will play an important role in ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Loading and unloading deliveries
Checking incoming goods and ensuring stock accuracy
Moving and storing products safely within the warehouse
Preparing items for dispatch
Using warehouse systems to update stock information
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience (desirable)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
A reliable and positive approach to work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment
FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
