About the Role
HRGO Recruitment's client is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This hands-on role supports the production process, including handling raw meat, packaging, and preparing orders for dispatch. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety while gaining the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Safely handle raw meat, maintaining quality and hygiene standards.
Prepare and package products for dispatch, including working in freezer environments.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety regulations.
Support the team to keep production and warehouse operations running smoothly.
Requirements
Physically fit: able to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25kg.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team or independently.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling and packaging products.
Flexible and willing to undertake training and additional tasks.
Own transport recommended due to remote location.
Desirable:
Previous experience in food production or warehouse operations.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP principles, and safety procedures.
