Location: Chessington
Hours: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7:00am - 4:00pm / 11:00am - 8:00pm

Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

Hourly rate £ 12.71 Per hour.

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Chessington. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and a proactive attitude.

Warehouse Operative - Chessington Key Responsibilities

  • Goods In: unloading deliveries and checking stock accurately
  • Picking and packing orders for dispatch and delivery
  • Manual lifting of items to pick for trade counter customers.
  • Operating forklift trucks (primarily Counterbalance and Bendi)
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation
  • Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely
  • Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting colleagues, customers, and external partners where required

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (ESSENTIAL) - RTITB or ITSSAR Accredited.
  • Bendi licence (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a busy warehouse / supply chain environment
  • Experience unloading lorries and handling goods in
  • Support Trade Counter as and when required - Customer focused
  • Strong picking and packing experience physically demanding
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Flexible to work either shift:
    • 7:00am - 4:00pm
    • 11:00am - 8:00pm
