Our client has a reputation for excellence in the Coach Building industry. Over the past few years they have grown and now have a team of up to 35 trained and dedicated employees. They are looking to add to that team by recruiting a Vehicle Repairs Engineer.

The working hours are 39 hours per week 8am until 5pm Monday to Thursday with a finish time of 3:45pm on Fridays.

The successful applicant will be responsible for repairs from end to end, i.e. from providing quotes, undertaking the repairs themselves and invoicing the customer. The ability to use hand and power tools, having a practical mindset and be a problem solver are required skills.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and unsupervised after training, have excellent communication skills and have previous experience working in a coachbuilding or assembly role in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

The ability to paint vehicles in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential and basic IT skills are required.
