Job Title: Transport Coordinator
Location: Lochmaben
Salary: £30k - £35k (Dependant on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Dayshift
HRGO is working on behalf of their client local to Lochmaben, seeking to hire a full-time Transport Coordinator to join their growing team. This role involves working within a fast paced industrial setting where timely delivery of goods is absolutely critical for customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Receiving and processing customer orders, including addressing inquiries related to those orders. Exceptional customer service and a keen attention to detail are essential for this role. The ability to resolve issues and adhere to company policies is also required
Daily reconciliation of electronic documentation using provided software, with full training offered.
The succesful candidate should ideally have:
Proficiency in IT is mandatory, as all systems are computerised. While full training will be provided, the ideal candidate should be adaptable and capable of learning various systems in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management, strategic thinking, and organisational skills, including the ability to quickly re-prioritise tasks, are critical for success in this role.
This is a fast paced and demanding role, where no two days are the same.
