About the Role

Join a leading UK distributor of specialist test equipment for the food, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors. We're looking for a Trainee Field Service Engineer to learn how to service, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical systems, including gas analysers and leak detection equipment.

You'll work from our Clients South Cambridgeshire Service Centre and travel to customer sites across the UK & Northern Ireland. Full training, company van, tools, and great benefits provided.

Applicants must live close enough to comfortably commute daily to the Service Centre, which is situated in the Duxford - South Cambridge region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn to service, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical test equipment

  • Assist with field service visits across the UK & Northern Ireland

  • Support workshop-based repairs and maintenance

  • Deliver professional, customer-focused technical support

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in engineering and technology

  • Basic mechanical/electronic/electrical knowledge

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Clear communication skills and willingness to learn
