HR GO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant for one of their long standing clients in Ashford.

Reporting into the Trade Counter Manager you will be responsible for providing a memorable service to new and existing customers.

You will be required to;

• Build and develop relationships with customers, suppliers and employees.
• Prepare displays for promotional events.
• Pick goods as an when required.
• Process orders on the computer system - must be computer literate
• Fulfil daily tasks set by the Counter Manager.
• Maintain a good level of product knowledge.

Ideally you will;

• Have knowledge of the Construction Market
• Have experience of working within a similar role/industry.
• Have experience within a customer service environment.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Have a 'can do' attitude.
• Be able to prioritise your workload.
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
• Have a degree of flexibility and be able to work additional hours if required.
