We're looking for a hands-on, community-minded Town Sprucer to help keep Dover, Deal, and Sandwich looking their very best. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your surroundings, and love engaging with people, this is the perfect role for you!
You'll play a key part in maintaining clean streets, vibrant green spaces, and welcoming public areas, while being one of the friendly faces residents see every day.
🌺 What You'll Be Doing
- Mowing, trimming, planting, sweeping, and general grounds maintenance
- Keeping streets, parks, and public areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Supporting with weeding, painting, and seasonal improvements
- Helping to create beautiful outdoor spaces the community can enjoy
- Chatting with members of the public-you'll be a positive ambassador!
Travelling between Dover, Deal, and Sandwich using your own vehicle
🎯 What We're Looking For
- Full driving licence & own vehicle (essential)
- A genuine pride in your work and local community
- Friendly, approachable, and happy to engage with the public
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
- Groundskeeping experience is helpful-but not essential
