The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tool Hanger / Injection Moulding Setter to join a growing manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous injection moulding experience looking to develop their skills further, with additional training available for candidates who have limited tool-changing or setting experience.
Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for operating injection moulding machinery, carrying out tool changes and supporting tool trials to ensure production runs efficiently and consistently meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring injection moulding machines.
Carrying out tool changes and assisting with machine setting.
Supporting tool trials and ensuring machinery is running correctly.
Checking finished components to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Working alongside toolmakers to assist with tool repairs and maintenance.
Liaising with chargehands to coordinate and carry out tool changes.
Identifying and reporting any production or quality issues.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Following company procedures and health and safety requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience operating injection moulding machines is essential.
Previous experience in tool hanging, tool changing or machine setting would be advantageous, but is not essential as training will be provided.
Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and willing to work shifts.
