Technical Customer Support Representative (Renewable Energy) –

About the Role:
A global leader in renewable energy technology is looking for a Technical Customer Support Representative to join their Kraków team. You’ll support professional photovoltaic (PV) installers and partners across Europe with advanced solar, storage, and e-mobility solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver top-tier technical support via phone and digital channels for solar energy systems
Troubleshoot issues across a wide range of renewable energy products (e.g. inverters, battery storage, EV chargers, software portals)
Solve over 90% of queries independently using technical knowledge and troubleshooting guides
Support commissioning of systems and initiate device replacements when needed
Maintain detailed customer records and case resolutions
Continuously learn through hands-on training and expert-led sessions
What You’ll Bring:
Technical Background (any of the following or similar): Electrician / Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, HVAC or Sanitary/Heating Technology Technician, Radio-TV/Information Electronics Technician
Basics of electrical engineering: Ohm’s law, current/voltage/resistance relationships
Knowledge of PV systems, inverters, solar monitoring/control systems
Familiarity with network interfaces (LAN/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/RS485) and web browsers
Ability to identify root causes of issues and follow structured troubleshooting steps
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably Salesforce
Clear, empathetic communication (both written and spoken)
Customer focus with a solution-oriented mindset
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Team player with an independent, proactive attitude
German – Native or bilingual
English – Upper intermediate to advanced (B2–C1)
