Job Role: Teaching Assistant

HRGO Education are in search of a teaching assistant that can support pupils with autism (ASD) and challenging behaviours.
HRGO Education are recruiting for a progressive SEND school based in Swanley, Kent. They are seeking a Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young people with Autism (ASD) and challenging behaviours. Previous experience with autism is desirable, however training is provided by the school so candidates with a positive attitude that want to begin a career in SEND education will be considered.
You will be supporting pupils in small groups with their learning and managing their emotions/behaviour throughout the school day. The role is full-time, and you will be working alongside class teachers and other Teaching Assistants in small classes of 5 pupils.
The school was rated "Good" by Ofsted and is well resourced to support their young people. It has residential students and lots of outdoor activity spaces including a forest school, horse riding and swimming activities. The school is located in Swanley, Kent close to the surrounding areas of Dartford, Bexley and Bromley. Safe, on-site parking is available for all staff.
