Role: Teaching Assistant (ASD)

Rate of Pay: £80 per day

HRGO Education are working with an outstanding SEND school based in Maidstone, Kent. They are seeking Teaching Assistants to support their pupils with Autism (ASD). Teaching assistants help their young people with academic work, outdoor activities and additional SEND learning needs.

Suitable Teaching Assistant candidates:

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable (classroom, care, coaching, tutoring, social work etc)
• A good level of English (written and oral)
• Will have the ability to support the class teachers and to inspire pupils, helping them academically, socially and with their additional needs
• Organised, pro-active, friendly, hard-working and resilient with a good sense of humour.

For safeguarding, references will be taken up before interview and successful applicants will require and enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
