Pay: £9.60 per hour

Purpose of the role

To work as part of a team to deliver a quality service to our clients and customers. Effective communication with your foreman, Supervisor, Manager, and customers. Effective, reliable, and responsible performance of work tasks

Responsibilities of role

• Collection and removal of litter from contractually designated areas (which will include village streets, laybys, grass verges, open spaces and recreational areas)
• The maintenance of Council owned litter bins and dog bins
• Removal of graffiti
• Removal of fly tipping
• Collection of dead animals (roadkill)
• To provide occasional support outside normal working hours as and when agreed with management
• To empty litter and dog bins in accordance with the Company's schedule
• To apply grit to roads and pavements or similar duties in the event of adverse weather conditions
