Stores Despatch Supervisor

Salary: £31,000 - £33,280 pa, plus overtime at time and a half

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Stores Despatch Supervisor to join a well-established electrical engineering manufacturing company in Harlow. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse and distribution operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 5-6, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee despatch operations for timely and accurate deliveries.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimise work-flow.
• Utilise Epicor MRP system for inventory management and reporting.
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy through regular counts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with departments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence with forklift proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, despatch, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with MRP systems. Epicor would be beneficial.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
