Overtime: Paid at x1.5 hourly rate (Mon-Fri & Sat AM)
We're partnering with a respected engineering company in the Cambourne- St. Neots area to recruit a skilled Stainless Steel Metal Polisher to join their skilled team.
About the Role: In this hands-on position, you'll be working with stainless steel components used in high-end processing machinery. Your responsibilities will include polishing and fettling to achieve a range of finishes such as satin, mirror, shot blast, and Scotch-Brite. Work will primarily be based in the workshop, with occasional site visits.
What You'll Need:
Solid experience in metal polishing and fettling, particularly with stainless steel
Knowledge of industrial finishing techniques and tools
Comfortable working with large machinery and collaborating within a team
Willingness to travel for occasional on-site work
Working Hours:
Monday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Tuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm (overtime available)
