HRGO are recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator for our client in the Ellesmere Port area. You will be responsible for managing all logistical details for outbound shipments for the company. The successful candidate will have proven experience in shipping and be a strong team player.

Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday (30 minute lunch break)

Pay: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE, paid weekly as an hourly rate

Location: Ellesmere Port

Contract Type: Temp to perm (after 12 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Manage all outbound domestic and international export shipments
• Obtain quotes and select vendors for freight services
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts
• Raise invoices and shipping statements
• Maintain compliance with ITAR and other regulations
• Log freight claims and track them on a weekly basis
• Maintain inventory of shipping material and supplies.

Requirements

• Understanding of ITAR
• Previous experience of 1-2 years in a similar role is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft packages
• Knowledge of UPS & Fedex software preferred
• Experience in international shipments
