HRGO are recruiting for a client in Ashford who are looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will support the Site Transportation Manager in the day to day operations. Knowledge and experience with Customs is also essential for this position.

Daily Requirements

• Collaborate with customs to ensure compliance with import and export regulations

• Work in conjunction with customs brokers to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are correct and within time

• Monitor compliance of all documentation with transport regulations

• Managing SAP system to ensure shipments are going ahead at the correct time and date

• Coordinate and manage transport invoices

The ideal candidate:

• 2 - 4 years logistics experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment

• Customs experience essential

• Has excellent communication skills and demonstrates self-awareness

• Is adaptable and flexible

• Excellent customer service experience

• Ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity

• Excellent attention to detail

• An efficient personality with strong time management and customer skills

• SAP knowledge
