Pay Rate: £11.80p/h
Hours: Monday to Friday rotating each week:
Week 1 - 6am - 2.15pm
Week 2 - 2pm to 10.15pm
HRGO Recruitment are looking for a Service Operator for our client's manufacturing department. The company manufactures household, laundry and personal care products for major retail multiples and brand owners.
The main duties are servicing the production lines, dealing with completed products and computer bookings. Your position will involve stock checking, line clearances and computer transactions.
Responsibilities
You will be ensuring the movement of items into the production areas are made in a timely manner to make sure the production lines do not run out of raw materials.
All manufacturing procedures are followed regarding the input of raw materials and the connection of tanks to the production lines to maintain the integrity of the products being produced.
All completed products need to be spin wrapped and put into the warehouse ready for dispatch, so awareness of safe loads and correct wrapping is needed.
Any raw materials not used in production must also be checked and returned to the warehouse.
All stock movements need to be loaded into the computer system to maintain accurate records so attention to detail is very important.
Performance of frequent stock checks
Occasional support required to cover holidays for the loading /unloading of vehicles.
Qualities
We are looking for someone with the ability to work to deadlines and keep the lines supplied with raw materials so they can realise their maximum efficiency. Full training will be given, however some experience within a manufacturing.
A flexible attitude is required.
