Service Driver- Collections and delivery of Cars

£24,000-£25,000

Full-time (40 hours per week Working 8.00am -5.00pm, varying shifts covering Monday - Sunday

Our client is seeking an experienced Driver with at least 3 years' recent experience as a Driver and with a good geographical knowledge of the London and the surrounding home counties. You will be expected to conduct a professional hand-over on delivery, whilst providing excellent customer service and ensuring you record all information as required. You will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills . As a Collection and Delivery Driver your role will be to collect customers vehicles and deliver them to back to the company and delivering vehicles to customers home or work addresses. As well as have the driving skills you will providing a first-class service every time as you are the representative of the company. You will also need to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.

Service Driver / Collections and Delivery Driver Duties:

To collect and deliver customer vehicles from their place of work and home, engaging in conversation, building rapport and being aware of the customer's schedule.

Inspect vehicles prior to leaving site and with customer on handover / collection

Provide product knowledge to customers at handover and give assistance as required by the customer

Ensure most efficient and cost-effective travel methods always used between jobs

May occasionally be required to cover long distance routes, including overnight stays

Maintain regular contact with Transport team when experiencing issues

To ensure that customers' vehicles and property are kept safe, secure, and undamaged, whilst in your care

To inspect customer vehicles and record any damage or problems found at point of collection.

To advise team of any work required but not requested by the customer at the time of the appointment.

Completing all the necessary paperwork in relation to the vehicle

To inform customer of cost estimates of any requested work if required

As a Service Driver/ Collections and Delivery Driver you will be providing a first-class service to all customers and, working within the company's procedures and guidelines

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

Knowledge of relevant Road Traffic Acts

Ability to use / complete paperwork as required
