Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with experience working with Social, Emotional, Mental Health?
HRGO Education NW are pleased to be working with a special school in Skelmersdale who are looking to recruit a special need Learning Support Assistant to work full time. This role involves working with small groups, individual children, or full classes under the direction of the teacher.
The children needing support range from Y7 to Y11 and some have multiple learning difficulties and display some challenging behaviours. Working on specific targets and keeping daily records of progress and next steps is essential and must be fed back to the class teacher on a daily basis
The school is a one form entry and resides in a lovely rural area. The children have access to a full curriculum so support during lessons is essential, and they have a huge sports department where the children get to take part in the afternoons. The role of the learning support assistant will be needed Monday to Friday, 8.15am-3pm.
This school requires an energetic and experienced Learning Support Assistant. They have a very pro active and hands on curriculum which requires energy and passion from the right candidates.
