Must have insurance experience/contacts in the industry
Dealing with warm relationships, not much cold calling
Will be some deadlines to meet/can be some pressure in the role/ will have team targets to meet
Dealing with 50% clients and 50% BD
Will be a 2 stage interview process
Role Description:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will be to secure new business from both new and existing clients. Working closely alongside the Sales Manager, you will assist in lead generation, formulating propositions and collating business information in response to client requests and sales plans.
Key Accountabilities:
To secure new business, maintain a CRM (Sales pipeline of opportunities).
To identify cross selling opportunities from existing partnerships, across all business and product/service lines.
Assist in negotiations, including, commercial terms, pricing reviews, operating models and legal contracts.
Creation and delivery of presentations.
Assist with creation of tender documents for both insurance and non-insurance opportunities.
Support the managing of claims relationships within the marketplace ensuring we maintain, or lead our allocation, status and presence.
To be involved in inputting into the strategy and direction for development of allocated clients, or new business, assist in the delivery of that strategy.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Successful sales experience, including market knowledge, other alternative and transferable skills.
Knowledge and experience in the insurance / claim's management arena e.g., insurers, brokers, MGAs, tech companies
Ability to emotionally engage with clients to resolve issues, including great negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter, ability to engage and be confident in group settings, client/market social event settings
Ability to liaise at all levels, supporting Sales presentations and discussions, facilitating and leading on internal meetings accordingly in relation to sales/tender preparations
Working Conditions:
Your hours of work are flexible, as the needs of the business may require. The hours you work may differ from week to week according to business need. However, you must work 37.5 hours per week as a minimum.
