Location & Hours
Wincanton (onsite)
37 hours per week: Mon-Thurs 9:00am-5:30pm; Fri 9:00am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch each day)
Salary & Benefits
£26,000-£28,000 per annum (depending on skills, experience and responsibilities), plus:
Quarterly profit-related bonus scheme
7.5% employer pension contribution (via salary sacrifice)

About Us
We're recruiting on behalf of a family-owned manufacturing business based in Wincanton. They're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused administrator to join their friendly Sales Office team, supporting customers and internal colleagues to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Role & Responsibilities
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using business systems
Prepare quotations and follow up where appropriate
Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing professional support
Advise customers on product selection, availability, pricing and delivery schedules
Keep customers informed of changes to orders (pricing, lead times, delivery updates)
Direct enquiries to the right colleague when specialist technical support is required
Support Area Sales Managers and Key Account customers to deliver an excellent experience
Maintain accurate customer records and contribute to smooth day-to-day Sales Office operations
General office administration and filing
Work collaboratively across the business to support quality standards, procedures and Health & Safety
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in customer service, sales administration or office administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail and accurate data entry
Ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and work to deadlines
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Positive, proactive, flexible approach; able to work independently and as part of a team
