About the role:

You will lead from the front and motivate your team to achieve above and beyond expected targets. This will involve both overseeing the fulfilment of existing national contracts and building a prospect pipeline in order to win new business. You will need to negotiate at a high level, sell concepts and ideas, and gain commitment. Problem-solving will be essential and you will have the authority to take sensible business decisions within the Company's framework.

With at least two years of experience in recruitment, you are:

The successful candidate must have a full driving license and their own transport

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A proven track record in managing, training and developing a team
• An understanding of the recruitment sales cycle, including formulating and implementing a sales strategy by sector
• Experience in growing and retaining a client base
• Ability to sell concepts and negotiate at a high level
• Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good personal and team organisation skills
• A good understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques
• Good technical knowledge of the recruitment industry
• A sound understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge of organisations, agencies, Government departments, employers' organisations, professional bodies, media companies and other organisations holding important market data
• A sound understanding of economic, political and social issues
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office, customer database and the internet
