To continuously monitor and test the quality of raw waste, recording and reporting all results in an effective and timely manner that helps to maximize plant optimum processing and quality levels.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out all the continuous internal quality tests on raw or processed cullet as required following the companies test procedures. These will include tests for colour, metals, CSP, organics and fines.

• Record and report all test results on paper and electronically as required.

• Report any rejections or obvious trends of data that could be used to improve the quality of the finished product to the appropriate line manager as required.

• Carry out LOI & LOD tests as required and record and report results.

• Effectively interact with the Production team and Yardman to make sure that all test results are communicated and utilized to gain maximum benefit.

• Cover other plant roles as required during break periods and other times as required by business needs.

• Make sure that all recorded data is done accurately, and proof checked.

• Make sure that you are fully conversant with all customer specifications.

• Report any contamination issues to the Supervisor as they become apparent.

• Assist in training new of agency staff as required.

• Operate FLT and Sweeper as required if trained to do so.

• Carry out any other duties as required by business needs that are within your capabilities.

• Ensure adherence to all internal processes and procedures to ensure role is completed accurately at all time.

• Communicate effectively with fellow team members to ensure work is being carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.

• Pro-actively encourage and help co- workers when necessary.

• Assist with other departments when required; and

• Build good relationships with employees throughout the Company.

Key skills:
