We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join a well- established manufacturing company based in Sandwich, Kent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production processes, identifying potential problems and malfunctions, and ensuring that all manufacturing and engineering processes meet validation requirements. The Quality Technician will play a key role in resolving quality issues through a structured process, completing inspection reports, and monitoring the calibration system to ensure equipment is continually calibrated to schedule.

Due to the nature of the work all candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance to SC level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor production processes and identify potential problems and malfunctions

- Validate manufacturing and engineering processes, including on-the-job training

- Resolve quality issues through a structured process

- Complete inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner

- Monitor the calibration system and ensure equipment is continually calibrated to schedule

Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in QA

- Understanding of ISO standards

- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline

- ISO9001 or AS9100 internal auditor qualification

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
