HRGO Recruitment are seeking a skilled Quality Control/Advances Checker to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of products, contributing to our client's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Check the quality of all finished books.
Identify potential quality issues wherever possible and make repairs where possible.
Ensure the information supplied on the Works instruction Ticket is followed.
Ensure all deadlines are met so that Advance copies reach the customer on time.
Help to deliver any QA initiatives that may be implemented in the future.
To perform various duties of a shift production operative, when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
IT literacy (MS outlook, word, excel)
Ability to work to high standards under pressure
Excellent accuracy and an eye for detail
Ability to successfully prioritise workload
Ability to organise and schedule own time and activities, monitor progress and stay on top of own workload
