An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QC Technician to join my clients busy lab in Ashford.

The role has the responsibility of inspecting, analysing and evaluating raw materials and finished goods to make sure they comply with safety regs and the clients high standards.

• Perform a variety of quality control related sensory assessments including organoleptic (e.g. odour & taste) and visual determinations (e.g. colour and appearance).

• Perform a variety of quality control related measurements (e.g. chemical tests to determine pH, acid values) using wet chemical methods such as titration, saponification etc.

• Enter results into laboratory books / systems such as SAP.

• Document non-conformance. Extract, analyse, summarise and collect data for material related investigations.

We are looking for candidates with good lab experience or QC techniques with excellent IT skills.

Knowledge of analytical equipment and instruments such as weighing balance and densitometer would be beneficial.
