HR GO Recruitment are currently assisting a well-known local firm in their search for a production scheduler. This company serve various industries and have a customer base spanning the globe. As a production scheduler you will be working alongside the production staff to assist in the planning of works needed to be carried out.
Main duties:
Responsible for the planning and scheduling of production from the point of issue by Sales/Technical to the completion of machine build.
Reporting status of production in team meetings to sales and management colleagues.
Planning and scheduling of:
Production of works made and outside services made components
Stores facility resources
Fitting/assembly
Working with all areas to develop best practice use of the Materials Requirement Planning system
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience in a manufacturing and production environment is essential
Working experience of Sage 50 Manufacturing or similar system is necessary for this role
Experience with MS Project and other office applications
Excellent written and oral communication
The role:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch break
