Job Title: Production Planner
Hours of Work:5 days a week.
Reporting to: Planning Account Manager


Main Purpose of the Role

As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our planning department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the timely processing of customer orders, complete stock allocation, and strict adherence to compliance and health & safety regulations. You will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with marketing desks and direct supply outlets, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.


Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Allocate stock per customer specifications and internal guidelines.
  • Support production functions (PH, QC, Dispatch) by providing necessary order information, customer programs, and stock details.
  • Complete daily tasks as delegated by the Account Manager.
  • Notify the Account Manager of any potential issues that may affect order completion.
  • Maintain daily communication with the Account Manager for seamless operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Optimise utilisation of stock by monitoring inventory, orders, specs, and pricing strategies to enhance financial performance for both the company and third parties.
  • Work with management to ensure grading and packing lines achieve optimal results through effective size optimisation for the market.
  • Ensure adherence to stock rotation policies across all departments, including Warehouse and Packing.
