PRODUCTION / PACKING OPERATIVE

Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.00-17:30 Friday 08:00 - 12:00

We are seeking a skilled Production/Packing Operative to join a dynamic team in the Production department. The ideal candidate will have manual dexterity and technical skills for soldering, crimping, plastics mixing, moulding, and other technical tasks. Experience working in a high technology electrical/engineering environment is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
- Utilise materials, kits supplied, and technical drawings set out by the production manager
- Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and soldering skills
- Maintain a strong attention to detail in all tasks
- Adhere strictly to safe working practices in a safe working environment, following Health & Safety legislation
- Operate in accordance with Company Procedures and the approved Quality System, documenting all work activities within your remit
- Perform repetitive tasks accurately and for long duration
- Work in a medium to high volume production assembly environment

Skills & Knowledge:
- Manual dexterity and technical skills for soldering, crimping, plastics mixing, moulding, and other technical tasks
- Experience working in a high technology electrical/engineering environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks accurately and for long duration.
