Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Hours: 12 hour shift 4 on 4 off

Our client based in Folkestone, Kent, is looking people who can demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, be enthusiastic and a team player with a positive attitude to learning, to work on their high speed automated production line. You will be working 4 days on, 4 days off and will be permanently allocated day shifts (6am-6pm) or night shifts (6pm-6am) and applicants are free to state their preference for day or nights when applying. You will ensure that your high-speed production line runs effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving any issues that arise.
To operate allocated machines on different manufacturing lines safely, effectively and efficiently.
Adjusting fill weights/volumes
Fault finding and issue resolution
Able to complete changeover between products and orders, including:
Strip, clean and sanitise product contact parts of machinery and/or pipework
Adjust and reposition parts, following SOP's
Conduct micro test monitoring
Previous experience of working within a FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing environment would be desirable.
You must have a basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers.
A good standard of verbal and written English.
Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage.
