We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience who take pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm. The role will start temporary but will go permanent after successful probation period.
Key responsibilities:Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Assemble, inspect and package products to meet quality standards
Carry out routine quality checks and record production data
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace
Identify and report defects or process issues to supervisors
Support continuous improvement and maintain production targets
Skills and experience required:
Proven production experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and basic machinery operation
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines
Good communication and team-working skills
Physically able to undertake standing, lifting and repetitive tasks as required
Flexible approach to shift patterns where necessary
