HR GO are looking to recruit Production Operatives for their prestigious client based in Edinburgh, with the opportunity for this to become permanent for the right candidates.

All Production Workers are required to work under the overall direction of the Production or Shift Manager in order to ensure that the Company provides a high quality and reliable service to its customers.

All Staff are required to comply with reasonable requests to conduct duties which may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the unloading of company vehicles;

• Sorting linen in the sorting area;

• Operating the washing/ironing machines;

• Feeding linen through any ironer, towel folding or other garment processing equipment;

• Taking linen off the end of the production process, adopting quality control procedures;

• Assisting with the storage and packing of finished goods;

• Helping with other general duties within the production facility which may include cleaning, the removal of waste and other general cleaning and other duties on site; and

• Assist loading/transport department on site, and off site in the event of exceptional circumstances.

Full training will be provided for each machine operated and it is the duty of each employee to report to the Manager any requirements for training should you be asked to undertake a task for which you do not believe they have been trained to conduct.

The above list is not exhaustive and all employees are required to undertake any reasonable task required in order to ensure the smooth running of the production facility.

The shifts are dayshift from 7.00am until 3.00pm and Backshift 3.00pm until 11.00pm with an hourly rate of £9.80 an hour.
