Working Hours: Immediate start. Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm during the initial training period (approximately 3 months).
Shift Pattern: Following the training period, the successful candidate will be required to move onto a rotating shift pattern. Candidates must be willing and able to work a triple-shift pattern in the future.
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a highly organised and motivated Production Operative to join our client's busy Despatch Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal English communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail. The role involves processing a high volume of customer shipments while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and excellent service at all times.
Process and manage a high volume of daily customer shipments.
Coordinate communications with external warehouse partners via email.
Liaise with internal Customer Service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Support the delivery of excellent customer service by ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate shipment records and update relevant computer systems.
Use business systems and Microsoft Office applications to manage shipment information.
Identify and resolve issues relating to shipments and order fulfilment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Despatch function.
Adapt to changes in systems, processes and working practices.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required timescales.
Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Previous experience in a production, despatch, logistics, warehouse administration or similar environment required.
Strong computer literacy and confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to process and manage high volumes of information and shipments.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
