Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Bournemouth
Permanent Salary: £26K - £30K depending on Experience
Working Hours: Immediate start. Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a highly organised and motivated Production Operative to join our client's busy department

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical, hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. The role involves working within a busy production environment, operating machinery and equipment, preparing and manufacturing components to customer specifications, while ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency at all times.

Main Duties:

  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manufacture and assemble specialist belts and components to customer specifications.
  • Prepare materials and components for the production process.
  • Follow production instructions, job sheets and specifications accurately.
  • Use hand tools and workshop equipment as required.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues to the relevant supervisor.
  • Work to production schedules and meet required deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work.
  • Undertake training to develop your manufacturing and technical skills.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties within the production department as required.
