We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy Distribution Centre team. You will play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload containers safely and efficiently.
Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
Pack products securely for storage or shipment.
Move stock within the warehouse using manual handling equipment or pallet trucks.
Check incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and damage.
Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated locations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.
Skills and Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not always required.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work as part of a team and meet productivity targets.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Basic English and numeracy skills.
