PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

We are looking for a professional who has commercial experience within chemistry, chemical engineering, medical devices or a has scientific background/knowledge. Our client are global market leaders for chemistry products.

As the Product Marketing Manager you will be focusing on two of the leading products. You will be given full training and support to become and expert. You will analyse the competition and market trends, develop sales, support distributors and customer pre and post sales, identify market opportunities and increase revenue.

For this role you will need to be dynamic and have a self motivated attitude.

The role offers a 4 day in office and 1 day work from home. There will be a lot of travel required with this position.

This role is continuously evolving with additional responsibilities added as the business continues to expand. The position will involve occasional overnight stays, including international travel.

Experience

The ideal candidate would have all or some of the following:

• Experience of BSc (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Technical and commercial knowledge of the market for products in process and organic chemistry.
• Knowledge of the chemistry marketplace, including academic, pharmaceutical, CRO, CDMO, biotech,agrochemical, government, medical research institutes, fine chemical and chemical accounts.
• Previous experience of selling, supporting or suing similar synthesis products.
• Full UK driving license.
