Job Title: Processing Operator
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Hours: You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours that run from 6pm to 6am on a 4 on 4 off pattern.
Our successful client is based in Folkestone area and is looking for a Processing Operator, offering a fixed -term , 6 month contract. The operator is responsible for the physical manufacturing of the product batches and for the cleanliness of the processing plant and equipment.
Duties Include
Displaying an awareness and understanding towards GMP and following the correct Health and Safety procedures.
Utilising problem solving skills and the re-working of product batches.
Undertaking general cleaning duties and good housekeeping of the plant and equipment. This includes removing all rubbish and containers, leaving the area in a clean, tidy and safe condition and reviewing the plant and equipment for cleanliness.
Efficiently check and complete processing paperwork whilst ensuring all checks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
Report all recognised plant and machinery faults to the processing supervisor.
Play an active role in continuous improvement activities regarding the plant and equipment.
To be able to display an efficient level of competency in operating plant and machinery
Identify quality and machinery issues.
Sanitising and micro monitoring the plant and equipment and to be aware of its importance.
You must have a forklift licence, be computer literature and have a good standard of English , both written and verbal.
