Job Overview of Car Parts Advisor Role

As a Parts Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and leveraging your extensive knowledge of car parts to recommend and advise customers on the best options. Your responsibilities will include managing the parts department, maintaining accurate stock records, assisting customers in person and over the phone and ensuring the smooth processing of catalogue orders.

Key Responsibilities of Car Parts Advisor

• Oversee the parts department, including stock management and order processing

• Provide outstanding customer service

• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts for their needs

• Maintain and track inventory levels to ensure availability

• Place orders for supplies when needed

• Meet sales targets and promote customer retention

You'll be required to work one Saturday per month from 9 am to 12 pm to support any inquiries about company products during car meets.

Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service

• Passion for cars and extensive knowledge of car parts

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry

• Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
