⭐ Packing Team Leader - High-Speed FMCG Production
📍 Location: Ramsgate, Kent
💰 Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per year (DOE)
📄 Contract: Permanent
🕒 Hours: Monday - Thursday, 12-hour shifts (transitioning to a 4-on/4-off rotation)
Are you ready to lead a high-speed packing team in a brand-new FMCG operation? This is a fantastic opportunity to shape processes, develop a team, and drive operational excellence from day one.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Lead Bulk Packing, Flow Wrapping, and Bagging operations
- Ensure equipment setup, operation, and changeovers run efficiently
- Maintain high standards of product quality and presentation
- Complete accurate packing and production records
- Supervise, support, and coach Packing Line Operatives
- Assist with shift start-ups, changeovers, and handovers
- Identify and implement improvements to efficiency and quality
- Take full ownership of the packing setup, ensuring smooth and effective control of operations
🦺 Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Promote and uphold safe working practices at all times
- Ensure correct use of PPE
- Carry out safety checks and report any hazards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment
💪 About You
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or high-speed production
- Hands-on experience with automated packing lines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- A team-focused, supportive, and proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and cross-train across production areas
- Strong, confident leadership skills with the ability to take control of the packing setup effectively
