The Opportunity

We're supporting a well‑established, multi‑department business that is taking positive steps to reset standards, improve consistency, and strengthen day‑to‑day operations.

This is a hands‑on Operations Supervisor role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, leading from the front, and bringing calm structure to busy environments. You'll play a visible and influential role in helping teams re‑establish clear routines, strong working habits, and professional standards across the operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Bringing order, structure, and clarity to daily operations
  • Setting clear expectations and ensuring they are followed consistently
  • Encouraging teamwork and flexibility across departments
  • Taking pressure off senior leadership by managing day‑to‑day activity
  • Helping the business run smoothly, efficiently, and calmly

Key Responsibilities

On‑Site Leadership

  • Be a visible, approachable presence across all departments
  • Introduce and reinforce clear routines for start‑of‑day, breaks, and close‑down
  • Ensure work is completed to a good standard within working hours

People & Performance

  • Set and maintain standards around conduct, teamwork, and flexibility
  • Support staff to work effectively across departments when required
  • Address performance or attitude issues promptly, fairly, and professionally

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure all forms, checks, and procedures are completed accurately
  • Support operational compliance and consistent ways of working
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well‑run working environment

Handover & Reporting

  • Keep leadership informed of progress and day‑to‑day issues
  • Identify strong performers and areas requiring further support
  • Leave behind clear processes and practical improvement recommendations
