Teaching Assistant required for a One-to-One position in Sefton

HR GO Recruitment Education NW are looking to recruit an experienced full time SEND Teaching Assistant to cover a period of maternity for 12 months in a mainstream school in the Sefton area.

The position is to support a child in Year 6 working under the direction of the class teacher. The pupil has a diagnosis of ASD and High Anxiety so a firm understanding of the child's needs is essential.

The hours for the role are 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday and starts on 1st September. The daily rate is £65-£70 per day depending on experience.

The setting is in a fantastic location, easily accessible via local public transport links and the school has a very friendly atmosphere, a supportive environment, and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past.

In this role, you will be expected to provide support, both in and out of class, and the position is one to one support for a child with additional and multiple learning needs.
