Warehouse Office Administrator

Permanent role after a 3 month probationary period

Rotating shifts (inc): 06:00-15:00, 08:00 - 17:00, 09:00 - 18:00

Working 1 weekend in 4 (Saturday and Sunday), Day off during the week before and after working weekend

Salary: £11.15p/h

Start Date: Asap

Description:

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator that will undertake a variety of day-to-day tasks to ensure that our warehouse and transport departments have adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office administrator will be diverse ranging from order processing to monitoring warehouse performance and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly competent in prioritizing work with accurate attention to detail while working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and amenable to change throughout their role dependant on customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all warehouse office operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies

  • Order allocation and stock management

  • Create and update reports

  • Regular checks within the warehouse to ensure all documentation is being completed as required

  • Manage customer correspondence within a timely manner

  • Monitor stocks of office/warehouse supplies and place orders when necessary

  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator or relevant role

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Familiarity with office management procedures

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (inc Excel, Outlook and Word)

  • Previous experience using a transport/warehouse management system would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
