Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer applications. Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
  • Maintain and update company records through accurate data entry and filing systems
  • Organise appointments, meetings, and schedules efficiently using digital calendars
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Handle invoicing and financial records using Xero or similar accounting software
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
  • Support team members with clerical duties to ensure operational efficiency
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate communication

Skills

  • Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
  • Strong administrative experience with attention to detail
  • Good phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
