Job Role: MOT Tester Technician
Location: Swindon
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (With Saturday Morning Flexibility)

Salary & working hours

  • £33,000 to £38,000 per year (depending on experience and hours/days worked)
  • We're open to different shift patterns - to be discussed at interview.

What you'll be doing as a MOT Tester Technician

  • Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
  • Accurately recording MOT test results and details on the DVSA computer system
  • Fitting/ installing company products to customer vehicles and completing associated services where required
  • Keeping the testing centre, bays and equipment clean, safe and well-organised
  • Promoting and supporting sales of company products and services, following agreed processes
  • Working in line with company policies, procedures and reasonable management instructions
  • Wearing a clean, presentable uniform at all times and representing the centre professionally

What we're looking for

  • MUST HAVE AN MOT CERTIFICATE (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
  • Confident using computer systems for recording test outcomes
  • A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support wider workshop/centre tasks
  • Friendly, customer-focused communication skills
