The role requires a basic understanding and experience of machine shop and hand finishing (deburring, polishing, fettling). Key Responsibilities: - Operate basic machinery and tools. - Assist in drilling tasks with attention to detail and precision. - Perform de-burring to ensure smooth and safe edges on metal components. - Polish metal pieces to improve aesthetics and meet quality standards. - Support experienced machinists in daily operations and production tasks. - Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Skills & Attributes: - Basic machine shop understanding and experience. - Willingness to learn and improve drilling/machining and metal finishing techniques. - Attention to detail with a focus on quality control. - Ability to perform tasks efficiently and safely. - Good teamwork and communication skills. - Motivated, with a positive attitude and eagerness to develop new skills.
