Expanding and successful high tech engineering & manufacturing company have a new interesting and varied opportunity for a junior Design engineer to join their team. The company are able to support an engineering career to chartered engineer status and this represents and exceptional career start in a growing organisation.

You will develop to manage projects from initial concept to final production, liaising with clients and internal departments to allow you to understand and design 3D models and associated documentation. You will also be part of planning the manufacturing route and have involvement with all internal departments to pull together materials and any external needs.

You will need to be degree qualified in Mechanical or Design Engineering and have a good understanding of CAD Design from concept to DFMA. Any experience with precision sheet metal or machined components will be beneficial.
