HRGO Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established local business for a Maintenance Operative to join their team on a permanent basis based in Sheffield, S25
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in maintenance, facilities, property maintenance or building repairs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the site, carrying out repairs, maintenance and security checks to ensure the premises remain safe, secure and operational.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Diagnose faults and complete repairs
General building maintenance, painting and decorating
Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
Maintain fencing, gates, drainage and external areas
Conduct routine site, CCTV and security checks
Complete maintenance records and inspection reports
Support contractors and site inductions
Assist with compliance, health & safety and operational duties
Requirements
Previous maintenance, facilities or property maintenance experience
Good general repair, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience using hand and power tools
Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge
Good understanding of health & safety requirements
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Full UK Driving Licence
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent are advantageous but not essential.
